Team MIR took 50 junior dragster drivers to Bristol to
compete for the National Championship with Valarie
Wright winning the championship for the 16-17 class.
Reagan Ketterman was able to runner up in the 12 year
old class and deep runs by Abby Norment and Tyler Lusby
helped secure the MIR Team Championship.
Thanks to our sponsors, we were able to have a big check
challenge with Valarie Wright taking The President award
for $500 for best overall driver. Rowan “The Robot”
Parlett won the Sharpshooter for best reaction times and
Maverick for best finish line driving. Then Bobby Dudley
won the Babe Ruth Parent award for dialing the car the
best.
There were over 550 junior dragster drivers competing
and team MIR made their presence known round after
round. Special thanks to all the families that helped
and participated and we look forward to doing it again
next year.
We’ve always said that MIR has the best Jr. dragster
drivers in the country and now we have the Diamond Wally
to back it up
