Ready for Another Revved-up,
High Performance Season In
Hubble Motorsports Junior Dragster |
Maryland
Int’l Raceway has one of the best weekly Junior Dragster
programs in the country; with some of the greatest
junior racers and families. Ron Hubble of Hubble
Motorsports has continued his incredible support for the
Junior Dragster program for 2023. Each weekly Junior
Dragster winner is awarded $250 plus a trophy, the
runner-up is awarded $100 plus a trophy and each
semi-finalist will receive $50. As always, second round
winners are given a trophy when they bring their time
slip to Race Control. New for 2023, the Beginner class
will be for 6-9 year olds instead of 7-9 year olds.
For 2023 there are a total of 21 points races. Plus,
many MIR special events include J/D including, the new
Young Guns all J/D weekend, the Jr Dragster Double
Header, PDRA, Jet Wars, ET Blowouts, WDRA Sportsman
Series and Superchargers Showdown. Check the points
calendar (link below) for which events are points races.
This year, the WDRA Summit Team Finals will be held at
Keystone Raceway on Sept 15 – 17 and will include 13
Junior Dragsters representing Team MIR
The Junior Dragster championship points program and
points fund will be paid based on the drivers’ final
season points placement - with plaques going to the top
10. The track champion will receive $500, FREE car &
driver entry for the following season, plus a
championship trophy. The second-place driver will get
$200 and third place $100. The fourth and fifth place
will also receive $50 each. The entire $900 J/D points
fund payout is sponsored by Hubble Motorsports.
